The mixed-use skyscraper Leeza SOHO, 207 meters high and with a gross floor area of 172,800 square meters, contains the world’s tallest central atrium, which rises 190 meters and articulates the two halves of the building. Located in the Lize Financial Business District in Beijing, the skyscraper’s form responds to the specific conditions of its context and location. The building’s base straddles the subway tunnel that diagonally divides the site, while the upper floors are organized following the direction of street.
